Salt Sanctuary

What are salt rooms—and what is halotherapy? Halotherapy is more familiar than it might initially seem. Anyone who’s ever gargled with salt water for a sore throat, or even disinfected a wound with salt water has practiced halotherapy. A day at the beach is another example of a halotherapy session. Our man made salt room is a sanctuary with walls and floors covered in Himalayan salt. It also uses a halogenerator which is a machine that blows tiny particles of pharmaceutical grade salt into the air…very therapeutic!

Medical Qi Gong is one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), alongside acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage. As with the other “branches” of TCM, healing occurs through balancing the electromagnetic energy (Qi) which surrounds and permeates all living creatures.

Disruptions in the body’s electromagnetic energy occur throughout our lifetime due to poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, injuries, surgery, suppression of emotions, and aging.
