After relocating from Northern New Jersey to Surfside Beach in May 2022, Melissa joined the Ocean’s Edge Salon team in April 2023 as a part-time front desk receptionist. With a strong background in administrative and client-focused roles, she quickly transitioned into the full-time position as Salon Coordinator in October 2023. In this role, Melissa brings organization, attention to detail, and a passion for exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for both clients and staff.
Before entering the salon industry, she gained valuable experience across several fields of business. These roles helped shape her professionalism, communication skills, and ability to manage complex tasks in fast-paced environments.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending quality time with friends, family, and her Goldendoodle, Champ. She loves going to the beach, listening to live music, reading and playing board games!
With over 25 years of experience, Kathryn Mangieri is a highly skilled and nationally certified massage therapist. Licensed in SC, she blends clinical expertise with a deep passion for client wellness. Kathryn is also a SC licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant, bringing a unique perspective to bodywork that integrates therapeutic precision with restorative relaxation.
Kathryn is a graduate of Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Massachusetts, one of the most respected institutions in the field. Her commitment to professional growth has continued throughout her career with extensive continuing education in various massage modalities. Her specialities include: Total Body Stretching, Medical & Orthopedic Massage, Repetitive Motion Injuries, Reflexology, Hot Stone Therapy and The LaFleur Method of Swedish Massage.
Whether providing therapeutic relief from chronic pain, enhancing mobility through targeted stretching or creating a serene escape from life’s stresses, Kathryn’s mission is simple: to help every client feel their best – body, mind, and spirit.
Sharon is a licensed hairstylist with over 20 years of experience in the New Jersey/New York area. She moved to South Carolina in October of 2022 in search of fun in the sun and joined the Ocean’s Edge Salon team in January of 2023. Sharon feels communication is key in her work and takes the time to listen to what each client wants while offering expert advice on what works best their hair type, lifestyle, and personal style.
She is well-versed in a wide range of professional color lines and cutting techniques and specializes in hair extensions from multiple top-tier brands. Sharon also offers discreet services in a private room for clients seeking hair replacement or mesh integration systems. Whether you’re looking for a total transformation or a little touch-up, Sharon is here to make you feel confident, refreshed and fabulous-while having some laughs along the way.
Outside of the salon, Sharon is a beach lover through and through. For her there is nothing better than a walk along the shore, blue skies above and sunshine on her skin. When she isn’t near the water, you will probably find her laughing, joking or learning something new. Her current obsessions are Pickleball and Golf!
Missy moved from Pittsburgh, PA to South Carolina in 2022 and joined the Ocean’s Edge team in March of 2023. With more than 20 years in the spa and salon industry, Missy is passionate about helping clients look and feel their absolute best. She loves customizing every treatment to suit individual needs, ensuring that each session is both luxurious and relaxing. Whether it’s a revitalizing facial, the best spray tan on the Grand Strand or a soothing body treatment, Missy focuses on creating an experience that leaves clients glowing, refreshed, and renewed with a personal touch and unparalleled hospitality. She is currently available by appointment for individual and group spa sessions.
When she is not in spa pampering clients, she is spends quality time with her husband and fur babies. She has a passion in rescuing animals in need, cooking, baking and reading a good book!

Originally from Tennessee, Jamie specializes in color, blonding, and perms—helping each guest find the perfect look to highlight their natural beauty. She’s passionate about boosting confidence and believes that great hair is more than just style—it’s a form of self-expression.
When she’s not behind the chair, Jamie loves spending time with her dogs and getting lost in a good book. Her welcoming personality and dedication to her craft make every appointment a fun, confidence-boosting experience.
Born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,Hanna has always known she wanted to be a hairstylist. Growing up in the pageant world sparked her love for beauty and creativity, and in 2019 she turned that lifelong passion into a career. She specializes in dimensional color, bridal hair and makeup, and tape-in extensions. She loves helping clients feel confident, radiant and truly themselves. Whether she’s creating a soft, natural look or a full glam transformation, Hannah brings a personal touch and genuine care to every client that sits in her chair. On Hannah days off she loves to go boating with friends and family or binge watch TV shows with her dog!
Michele started her career as a hairdresser in New York City in 2005. She officially moved to the Myrtle Beach area in August of 2021 and joined the Ocean’s Edge team shortly after. She specializes in long hairstyles, blonding, extensions and smoothing treatments such as Brazilian Blowouts as well as ProAddiction. She has trained with top professionals to earn certifications in the latest techniques, always focusing on creating customized looks while keeping hair healthy and strong.
Outside of work, Michele loves the beach and spending time with her family including her two Frenchies.
With over 21 years of experience behind the chair, Ashley brings both expertise and passion to every client she works with. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she made the sunny move to Myrtle Beach in 2020 and has been part of the talented team at Ocean’s Edge Salon since 2021.
Ashley specializes in all types of hair coloring services, with a true love for highlighting and creating customized colors that complement each client’s unique style. Her goal is always to help guests feel confident, beautiful, and completely at home in her chair.
